FLI Met Masts

Our free standing permanent Met Masts range from 5 metres to 300 metres high, they have a slim profile with efficient member sizes resulting in minimal visual impact. These members have welded modules which provide quick installation and reduced maintenance. All our towers are designed to BS8100 parts 1 and 3 then supplied to the customer galvanised to BS EN  ISO1461 with a minimum design life of 25 years. FLI's design team analysed previous Met Masts designs and applied our new rounded structural members to our product range, which in turn reduces wind disturbance to give more accurate data to wind farm developers. 

FLI can offer a full turnkey service to every customer from bespoke design right through to installation and commission. We have the ability for our in-house rigging teams to maintain your Met Mast for it's complete working life and service our anemometer equipment when required. We have a standard product range for the Met Mast market, but bespoke solutions are available upon request. 

Onshore Temporary Met Masts

If developing smaller sites onshore and our permanent Met Mast's are not what you are after, FLI can provide smaller temporary guyed structures which can removed and re-used once your site has been commissioned. These structures are smaller in size and could require a larger area for guyed wires to be attached, but have the added benefit of being able to be moved onto the next site you look to develop. All anemometer equipment required can be attached to these structures and give developers all the information they need to see how a site will perform. FLI apply there same design standards and innovations to this smaller product range  and again offer a bespoke design if you require. 

Anemometer & Other Equipment

As part of our complete turnkey service to our customers, FLI can supply, install & maintain all equipment you should require to be used in conjunction with our Met Masts. We can offer various extras including wind vanes, pressure, humidity and temperature sensors, data Loggers, LIDAR, SODAR, GSM modems, IP66 enclosures, PV panels, earthing kits, aircraft warning lights, hi-visibility daylight markings,  fall arrest systems, anti climbing devices and bird flight deterrents.

Complete Turnkey Service

FLI have our own innovative and efficient design, engineering, project management, manufacturing & installation/rigging teams and facilities in-house right here in Gloucester. Because of this FLI are able to offer a complete turnkey service to all our customers on all our products, we have the ability to take your project from start to finish without issues and can maintain products for you there after. If you require something we cannot provide our ourselves we will look to find a company who can for you, to keep your point of contact for the whole project to just one person from the design stage all the way to commission.
