FLI supplied and installed this radar tower on the remote Scottish Island, engineered to support a Terma radar system and with integrated staircase access. The project included full structural design, radome interface and engineering assessments under extreme wind conditions. Key work involved a strength upgrade over standard tower design and a global design check, to meet safety and performance standards. Resulting in a robust tower capable of housing specialist monitoring equipment in a challenging environment.
