FLI designed and supplied 21 LOC stagings with screw pile foundations for Colas Rail, overcoming sloping site conditions and short possession times. Standard NWR specifications were adapted to meet the project’s specific constraints, improving efficiency and constructability.
FLI’s approach developed a risk-based LOC design focused on Minimum Viable Product compliance, paired with flexible foundation solutions including single- and multi-pile arrangements to suit variable ground conditions. This enabled efficient construction within tight possessions, reduced disruption to railway operations, and delivered a robust, adaptable, and technically precise solution.
